I was given this double bass by a school I work for. It was in a bad way and was going to be broken up and burnt.

It had no head stock and had several cracks in the front. All corners and edges were broken and the varnish was peeling off all over.

It gave me great pleasure restoring this instrument and has now got a good home and is played regularly.
